We had quite a good spot close to the entrance of the Backyard Market and the stall holders surrounding us were really friendly which is always a nice thing to have. Having traded here three years ago we had a good idea of how we wanted the stall to look like and we were quite pleased with the outcome. The weather was cold which did keep some people away but we managed to gain enough sales from the visitors that did come. The Bus London and Monkey tshirts were once again the best sellers. The Snake which has now been put onto long sleeve also did well. It will certainly feel a little strange as this is the market where we first began selling WEE ladies tshirts. We were there from the end of October 2007 to the beginning of January. We finally gave up trading there and moved to Camden Lock market. We only returned once in the summer of 2008. We have been given a middle stall in one of the aisles which isnt the best position to be give but we have been told that we can be moved once an available position comes up. We will only be trading on Sundays at the Backyard Market for now but may try trading on Saturdays too closer to Christmas. Will keep you informed of how we do with the childrens clothing. This will be the first time that the collection has been sold there. Animals are at the forefront of our imagination as it fits in nicely with our current collection. Were also hoping that we will be able to use one of these designs on our new sweatshirts. The designs will also be added to the sleepsuits but whether the designs are added to the new hats that we are about to do and the bibs will depend on the size of the design and how many much detail there is. At the moment we are only at imagination stage. We are waiting on Joels ability to run with our imagination and put it into drawings.
